Shop OTRO is a consumer retail division of OTRO INNOVATIONS LLC. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at support@otro.bd.

This policy covers this storefront only. Other OTRO divisions publish their own policies on their own sites.

Order requests: name, phone number, city or district, full delivery address, preferred payment method and any order notes you write.

Support messages: the name, email address or phone number and message you send through the contact form, plus any order details you include.

Cart data: the items and quantities in your cart are stored in your own browser using localStorage. This stays on your device and is only sent to us when you submit an order request.

Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) generated by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.

To review, confirm and deliver your order, including calling you to verify stock, the delivery charge and your payment method.

To arrange courier pickup and delivery, and to answer delivery or return queries.

To comply with record-keeping, tax and consumer-protection obligations that apply to a business selling in Bangladesh.

To detect and prevent fraudulent orders and abusive form submissions.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your phone number for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Couriers: Pathao and RedX receive the name, phone number and delivery address needed to deliver your parcel and to contact you about it.

Payment providers: if you choose bKash, Nagad or SSLCommerz, the payment provider processes the transaction under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of payment and a transaction reference, not your PIN, OTP or full card details. This site does not collect or store card numbers, wallet PINs or OTPs.

Service providers: the hosting provider that serves this site and the email provider that delivers messages to our support inbox, acting on our instructions.

Authorities: where we are legally required to disclose information, or where disclosure is necessary to investigate fraud or protect our legal rights.

This storefront does not set advertising cookies. Your cart is kept in browser localStorage so it survives a page refresh; you can clear it at any time by emptying the cart or clearing your browser data.

Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary technical cookies for security and basic request handling. If we add analytics or advertising later, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent first.

Order records are kept for as long as needed to fulfil the order and to meet accounting and consumer-protection obligations, then deleted or anonymised.

Support messages are kept for up to 24 months so we can resolve repeat issues, and are deleted earlier on request where no legal obligation requires us to keep them.

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to order details is restricted to team members who need them to fulfil or support an order.

No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify affected customers and the relevant authorities where the law requires it.

Our team and service providers operate across Bangladesh, China and the United States. Where personal data is processed outside Bangladesh, we apply the same standards described here and limit access to what is necessary for the purpose.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate details, or ask us to delete data we no longer need for a legal or contractual reason.

Send these requests to support@otro.bd with the phone number you used at checkout. We respond within a reasonable period, usually within 7 business days.

Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under Bangladeshi law, including the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009.

This shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a child has submitted an order request, contact us and we will delete the information.

We may update this policy when our processes or the law change. The version published on this page at the time of your order is the one that applies to that order.
